Oxford is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world. It is the home to what is perhaps the oldest and most well-known university in the world, where buildings and traditions reflect nearly 1000 years of academic history. Nearly every alleyway and building hold some secret of the past, and much can be discovered by merely walking around the streets and colleges that compose the university. Yet Oxford is also a vibrant and modern city with great restaurants and frequent events of all types. This website aims to help all, whether visiting for the first time or already living in Oxford, to discover the meaning behind this most fascinating world. 

This site merely reflects the opinion and experience of one Oxford graduate student who came to study here from the United States, but I have tried to include aspects that I believe would also be of interest to the general visitor as well as to new students embarking on their studies here.
